Brett Pyle, Chapter 66's volunteer van driver and Hospital Transportation Coordinator,
was awarded the John Milsap Award for the Spirit of Caring for 2012. Brett was
given the award July 9th by Dennis "Cougar" Hammons, Oklahoma State Commander

of the Disabled American Veterans.
Brett's wife Mary was also recognized for her contribution to the Veterans of Northwest
Oklahoma. "Without her, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish any

of my volunteer work for the DAV, she's the brains of the operation," stated Brett.
